I would like to commend Project Evergreen for their development and support of a nationwide program called GreenCare for Troops. The program is designed to assist families who have men or women deployed overseas serving our country. GreenCare for Troops is made up of volunteers who maintain the lawns of military families while they are off serving our country. Currently GreenCare for Troops has over 1,400 volunteers and has served over 6,500 military families around the nation.
